Dawn Hinton, APRN, AGPCNP-BC, a nurse practitioner, serves the residents ages 12 and older of Lake Charles and the surrounding areas.

Dawn has been a nurse in Lake Charles since completing an LPN program in 2000. She went on to receive an Associate Degree in Nursing from Lamar State College Orange in 2002 and a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from McNeese State University in 2005. She earned a Master of Science Degree in Nursing from University of Alabama-Birmingham in 2008. She has worked as a Nurse Practitioner in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Urgent Care, Geriatrics and Occupational Health. Dawn is credentialed through the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Certified Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Louisiana Academy of Nurse Practitioners, American Association of Occupational Health Nurses, and the Louisiana Association of Occupational Health Nurses.
