She graduated from Des Moines University Osteopathic Medical Center and completed her residency at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois. She remained there as an attending and faculty physician with Advocate Medical Group since 2003.
She practiced both Obstetrics and Gynecology, including minor and major surgeries – performed both open and laparoscopically, including robotic surgery.
