Dr. Eftekhari has been practicing medicine for over 20 years, treating various demographics and medical conditions. He has vast experience in both osteopathic medicine and pharmacology that provides patients with more thorough and comprehensive care by focusing on treating the cause of the medical condition versus the effect. With his experience, Dr. Eftekhari strives to cater each treatment plan to each patient’s needs.

Dr. Eftekhari began his medical career as a pharmacist. He graduated from Nova Southeastern University, College of Pharmacy in 1991. Having 28 years of experience in this area of expertise, Dr. Eftekhari provides patients with in-depth knowledge about medications. He is skilled in combining medications in the healthiest way possible to ensure optimal treatment success.

Dr. Eftekhari continued his medical education and training by attending and graduating from Nova Southeastern University with a Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine in 2001 where he learned to listen and partner with patients to help them get healthy and stay well, in addition to, receiving specialized training in the body’s interconnected musculoskeletal system such as the nerves, muscles, and bones.

He completed his residency at one of the top medical teaching hospitals in Florida, Jackson Memorial Trauma Center and Hospital 2001-2005. Dr. Eftekhari specialized in anesthesiology and pain management and is board certified in both.
