Dr. Irving is a native Houstonian and proud graduate of M.B. Smiley High School where she graduated Summa Cum Laude as Valedictorian of her class.

She went on to graduate with a Bachelor of Arts from Duke University on full scholarship, and her Doctor of Medicine Degree (M.D.) from the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in Galveston, TX. She completed her residency in Family Medicine at LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, LA in June 2019 and is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
