Dr. Susan Hardwick-Smith Author of Sexually Woke Founder of Complete Women’s Care Center, Complete Midlife Wellness Center, and AGIL

Dr. Susan Hardwick-Smith is an award-winning, Board Certified Obstetrics and Gynecology physician, author and life coach based in Houston, Texas. In addition to starting one of the largest ob/gyn practices in the country, she is also the founder of AGIL, a line of skin care products, supplements and certified organic transdermal hormones that support optimal aging.

Passionate about menopausal health and sexuality, Dr. Hardwick-Smith completed an extensive research project that culminated with her book Sexually Woke, which is being released in September 2020. The mission of Sexually Woke is to help women navigate midlife while remaining vibrant, connected and sexually satisfied. Combining her highly credentialed medical background with her passion for mind-body connection and spiritual wellness, Sexually Woke explores the significance of deepening relationships with oneself and others in order to join the Sexually Woke a group of over 1,000 women surveyed who have discovered vibrant sexual and spiritual lives in midlife.

In addition to the release of her first book, Dr. Hardwick-Smith is opening Complete Midlife Wellness Center (CMWC) in July 2020. CMWC is the first private practice in Houston dedicated to menopausal health. The practice will offer annual wellness exams, hormone consultations, surgical and non-surgical vaginal rejuvenation and labiaplasty performed by Dr. Hardwick-Smith, and access to premier aesthetic and nutritional medicine. She will also offer life coaching, utilizing her coaching certification from Rice University and additional training through the Conscious Leadership Group.

Prior to opening her first private practice, Complete Women’s Care Center, as a solo practitioner in 2002, Dr. Hardwick-Smith graduated from Baylor College of Medicine in 1995. She then completed her residency training at the University of Texas in Houston. She is an associate of the Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation Institute of America, the American Academy of Cosmetic Gynecologists, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, and was the first gynecologist in Houston to focus on cosmetic gynecology. She has spoken at national conferences on cosmetic gynecologic topics and her opinions have been published in the American Journal of Cosmetic Surgery.

Outside of her practice, Dr. Hardwick-Smith enjoys producing audio and video content exploring uncensored topics about midlife sexuality and spirituality. The New Zealand-born, Houston resident stays spiritually and physically healthy through meditation and exercise; she is a highly experienced marathon runner and Iron Man triathlete. She loves spending quality time with her teenage children, and is an active contributor to womens health projects in rural Africa. Her skincare company AGIL is directly partnered with the nonprofit Child Legacy International.
