Dr. David Rittenhouse, founding partner of Texas Center for Urology, brings his patients more than two decades of experience in urologic care. He recognized early in his training that he wished to pursue a career in Urology. Following his residency in general and urologic surgery at the University of Medicine and Dentistry School of Osteopathic Medicine, John F. Kennedy Memorial Hospitals in Stratford, New Jersey, Dr. Rittenhouse started his Urologic Surgery private practice in Oklahoma City in 1989.
In 1997 Dr. Rittenhouse moved to Texas to join the department of surgery and clinical faculty at The University of North Texas Health Science Center College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery where he served as an Associate Professor of Surgery.
After five years of serving in academics, Dr. Rittenhouse returned to private practice. He personally strives to provide quality, individualize care to every patient and is committed to offering the most up-to-date comprehensive urologic care; providing advanced medical and surgical options to both men and women. Dr. Rittenhouse’s practice offers Robotic, Laparoscopic and Minimally Invasive treatments for most urologic disorders including urinary incontinence for men and women, laser treatment for enlarged prostate, kidney stones and treatment of all urologic cancers. Hormone replacement therapy and Age Management medicine are active areas of interest for which he has extensive training and experience.
Dr. Rittenhouse has repeatedly been named a Top Doctor by Fort Worth, Texas magazine and was selected for inclusion in the 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013 Texas Super Doctors list, as seen in Texas Monthly.
Dr. Rittenhouse and his wife Peggy have three children and one grandson. They live in southwest Fort Worth.
Mr. Keith DeSonier joined Texas Center for Urology in 2010. He is Board Certified by the National Commission of Physician Assistants. Under the supervision of Dr. Rittenhouse and Dr. Young, Keith has developed a special interest in the treatment of prostate cancer, kidney stones, andrology (hormone manipulation), sexual health and male reproductive medicine.
Keith graduated Magna Cum Laude from Christian Brothers University in Memphis, Tennessee with his undergraduate degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology and earned his Master of Health Science at Quinnipiac University in Connecticut. Keith is a member of the Texas Academy of Physician””s Assistants, the American Academy of Physician””s Assistants and a member of the American Urological Association.
Keith resides in Fort Worth with his wife and two young children. He enjoys international travel, movies, the Fort Worth Zoo, is a self proclaimed “foodie” and avid LSU football fan (GEAUX TIGERS).
Kevin is a military veteran who graduated Cum Laude from University North Texas in Denton, with his undergraduate degree in Biology and then completed his Masters of Physician Assistant Studies from University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth. Kevin began his medical career 20 years ago initially as a US Navy Corpsman, where he had the opportunity to train as a Marine Corps Combat Medic.
He completed his military career in Naples, Italy where he worked with the US Army and US Air Force to coordinate emergency medevacs throughout the European theatre.
Kevin joined Texas Center for Urology in 2018 and under the supervision of Dr. Rittenhouse and Dr. Young, Kevin has developed a passion for men’s health including benign prostate hypertrophy, prostate cancer, sexual health, and hormone replacement.
Kevin resides in the Mid Cities area with his wife, who is also a military veteran and has two children.
He enjoys playing golf, camping, exercising, listening to music, woodworking, and reading military and war biographies.
Lastly, he enjoys traveling with his family either domestic or international and looks forward to one day taking a trip around the world.
