Susan Lacy, MD

Dr. Susan Lacy is a board-certified Gynecologist who has been practicing in Memphis for over 20 years.

Dr. Lacy trained at Johns Hopkins Medical School and completed OB/Gyn Residency at the University of Tennessee Memphis in 1997.

She has been an active part of the Memphis medical community, first in private practice and more recently in the non-profit sector. She lives in Midtown and has four children.

She is involved in community activism and is currently a board member of Protect Our Aquifer. She is also an avid tennis player.

Dr. Lacy created Modern Gynecology & Reproductive Health in response to a need in the Memphis area for more accessible gynecologic healthcare, transgender care, fertility services and comprehensive reproductive services.

Dr. Lacy has deep connections in the Memphis community and is excited to bring an innovative approach to reproductive healthcare to Midtown Memphis.

Annie Mitchell, RN, MSN

Annie Mitchell received her MSN from UTHSC in 2014.

She is Modern Gynecology & Reproductive Health’s first Registered Nurse.

Annie’s most recent Nursing experience has been with a reproductive health center following 4 years as an Emergency Room Nurse in the Memphis Methodist System and as an ER/trauma travel nurse in Maine and Montana.

Nursing is Annie’s passion but she also enjoys working out, reading, cooking, and spending time with her wife, Riley, and their 3 amazing cats.
