Jon “Wes” Haney is a native of Ada, OK attending both Ada High School and East Central University for his undergraduate studies where he earned a bachelor””s degree in legal studies. While still in high school, he chose to serve our country by joining the Oklahoma Army National Guard Field Artillery and spent 6 years as a fire directional control specialist. Ultimately, he earned his veteran status and an honorable discharge after completing his post 9/11 tour of active duty performing homeland defense. Upon completion of his undergraduate studies and military service, he then chose to pursue a career in the field of medicine, attending the University Of Oklahoma College Of Medicine Physician Associate Program and graduating in December of 2012. Wes is currently a member of the Oklahoma Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Association of Physician Assistants. He is an avid OU fan, but loves just about any sport. He also enjoys hunting, fishing and spending quality time with his family and friends in Ada, where he still resides. Wes looks forward to continuing FHCSO””s mission of providing quality healthcare to southeastern Oklahoma for many years to come.
