Dr. Cary Carpenter is a board certified family physician with over 25 years of clinical experience in both Family and Emergency Medicine. Graduating in 1991 from the University of Oklahoma, College of Medicine he earned his Medical Doctorate and soon after completed a General Surgery Internship at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. He completed his Family Medicine Residency in Enid, Oklahoma and spent 8 years working in the Emergency Medicine field.
Soon after Dr. Carpenter began his family he decided he wanted to work with families in the clinic atmosphere. In 1999 he opened Choctaw Family Medicine & Aesthetics (CFMA) in Choctaw, Oklahoma. As a Family Practice Physician, Dr. Carpenterās level of care encompasses the whole family and he treats patients of all ages. He has extensive experience in both pediatric and geriatric care with additional focus on Sports Medicine and Preventive Medicine. As an adjunct to his practice he began offering Aesthetic injections such as Botox and Juvederm helping those patients who want to gently turn back the hands of time.
As advances in healthcare and technology continue, the staff and Dr. Carpenter are onboard finding new ways to help patients focus on health and wellness and manage their chronic conditions such as Hypertension, Diabetes, COPD or Asthma.
Billy Sanders, Physician Assistant began his career at Choctaw Family Medicine in 2006. He completed his undergraduate program at East Central University in Ada, OK, and went on to the University of Kentucky to complete his Post graduate education for Physician Assistant Studies.
His interests in medicine include pediatrics, preventative medicine, and gastroenterology. He is happily married and has 2 wonderful sons.
