Valerie received her Physician Assistant education at the world-renowned Duke University School of Medicine (the number one ranked PA program in the country and birthplace of the profession).
Before PA school, she earned her MBA in Healthcare from Florida Atlantic University and her Bachelors of Science at the University of Minnesota.
She is BioTe certified and really enjoys helping patients feel like themselves again through hormone replacement therapy.
In addition, she has over 9 years of experience working in plastic surgery and dermatology, making her an expert in aesthetic medicine.
She prefers a two-phase approach when taking care of a patient- balancing hormones to help the patient feel better as well as delivering aesthetic treatments to improve the patient’s appearance and confidence.
In her free time, she enjoys spoiling her Pomeranian, volunteering with a cat rescue, and working-out at Pure Barre.
Allison is a Family Nurse Practitioner at InShape Medical.
She received her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing at Illinois State University and her Master of Science in Nursing at Frontier Nursing University in Hyden, Kentucky.
Her patients and clinic staff find her upbeat, caring, and kind. Allison has a strong belief in functional medicine and takes a holistic approach to caring for her patients.
Allison has training and experience in family medicine, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, medical weight loss, health coaching, and nonsurgical aesthetics. As a BioTE certified practitioner she says, “I love helping my patients feel their best…it’s an exciting time in functional medicine.”
Outside of the clinic, Allison loves to travel and be outdoors with her husband, two children, and their two rescue dogs.
