Barbara received her undergraduate degree from the University of New Mexico College of Nursing in 1990 and achieved a Master of Science in Family Nurse Practitioner from Creighton University in 2007. With a career spanning 33 years, Barbara has continually sought opportunities to learn and grow. Early in her career, she focused on gynecology, developing a passion for patient wellness planning. This led her to the field of aesthetics, where for the past 16 years, she has undergone extensive training in neurotoxins, dermal fillers, PDO threads, advanced facial procedures, and laser therapy. Barbara has collaborated with top providers in aesthetics and has been involved with BioTE Hormone Therapy since 2012.
Since 2017, the Chrome Aesthetics team has expanded to include additional providers, nurse injectors, estheticians, and support staff. Barbara is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the International Society of Plastic and Aesthetic Nurses.
In her free time, Barbara enjoys family, gardening, art, and travel.

I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to every client interaction. My diverse background includes working in retail pharmacy, providing comprehensive care in both inpatient and outpatient Family Medicine at UNMH, as well as showcasing my artistic talents as a makeup artist.
I’ve also gained valuable expertise in the realm of medical spa services, ensuring a well-rounded approach to aesthetics.
