Amy Carter, DO, is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist in private practice. Dr. Carter received her undergraduate degree in biology from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa and was awarded her medical degree from Des Moines University in 2003. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology from the University of Missouri Kansas City in 2007. Dr. Carter is a partner in the practice Ferns, Matile, Perryman and Moore and founder of Kansas City Wellness Center and Medical Spa.

Dr. Carter opened Kansas City Wellness Center and Medical Spa in 2015 to serve as a comprehensive anti-aging and aesthetic center. Kansas City Wellness Center focuses on education and enhancing each client’s natural beauty in a relaxed, comfortable and private setting.

Dr. Carter is a strong believer that a healthy diet and exercise are fundamental for overall wellness of mind and body. Kansas City Wellness Center offers weight loss options, body contouring technology, and noninvasive procedures that can be done to turn back time to help clients feel their absolute best.
