Megan Wiley is a board certified family nurse practitioner. She graduated cum laude with her Bachelor of Science in nursing from the Medical College of Georgia in 2008. She began work there caring for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients until 2013. She obtained her Master of Science in nursing in 2013 and began working at Family Care Group after graduation. Megan holds a national board certification with the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She is a member of the Augusta Chapter of Nurse Practitioners. In her free time, she enjoys family, friends, and traveling.
Michael McDaniel is a Board Certified Physician Assistant. He has been with Family Care Group of Thomson since 2006. He began his medical career and training as an EMT in 1995. While working as an EMT he continued to pursue his dreams of a medical career and in 2005 graduated from MCG as a Board Certified Physician Assistant.
Michael now enjoys the Family Practice environment in Thomson and Lincolnton and caring for patients of all ages. Michael truly has a gift of bonding with each of his patients. He brings experience and a lively and dynamic element to Family Care Group of Thomson. Michael has been a welcomed addition to the medical staff in Thomson and the surrounding community he is serving.
Emily was born and raised in McDuffie County, and has since returned after her college career at Georgia Southern University. She graduated magna cum laude with her Bachelorās of Science in Nursing in 2013 and began work at the Medical College of Georgia as a Registered Nurse. She worked as a Registered Nurse for four years; however, she had aspired to become a Nurse Practitioner before starting Nursing School. While working, Emily attended South University and obtained her Masterās of Science in Nursing in 2017. The opportunity arose at Family Care Group to practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2017 and she has been a wonderful addition to the medical staff.
We are thrilled Emily is able to practice in her hometown and serve this community.
Emily enjoys spending time with friends, family, and her three spunky dogs. She also enjoys traveling and reading.
She especially loves summertime and adores spending her days off on the lake.
