Born and raised in Detroit Michigan, Douglas attended Kennesaw State University while earning his Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing Science; along with graduating Magna Cum Laude. He attended Georgia State University earning his Master’s Degree in Advanced Practice in Family Nursing & Primary Care also graduating Magna Cum Laude. Douglas completed advance Cardiac Care Management with his internship at Emory University Hospital in Midtown. He worked on the Cardiac team where he specialized in Heart Catheterization, Acute Cardiac Syndrome and Congestive Heart Failure Management. In addition, he is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support with Emory University. He served in the US ARMY 97th Military Police Battalion and served with the Cobb County Police Department. He is married to his wonderful wife, Linda and they have two beautiful daughters, Kaydence & Cookie.
