Dr. Miguel Martinez has been practicing obstetrics and gynecology since 1983. He provides gynecological services, pregnancy and labor care to OB/GYN patients of all ages at Femhealth Group, located in Miramar and Hialeah Florida.
Dr. Martinez earned his medical degree at Santiago de Compostela University in Spain. He completed his internship in pediatrics at Miami’s Variety Children’s Hospital and finished his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Jackson Memorial Hospital.
He’s certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG), and is licensed in the state of Florida. Dr. Martinez is also a member of Broward County Medical Association and the William A. Little Obstetrics and Gynecology Society.

He is fluent in English and Spanish. He uses evidenced-based practice, national guidelines as well as collaborative team functioning to improve quality of patient care.
Tamara Rutledge is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Nursing Credential Center. She graduated with Honors from Florida Atlantic University with her Master of Science in Nursing. She has dedicated her education and nursing career to Women’s Health and Obstetrics. She has worked in labor and delivery at Memorial Hospital Miramar for the past 8 years.
Practicing at FemHealth LLC, Tamara is focused on health prevention and promotion. She chose to continue her education as a Nurse Practitioner because she wanted to focus on empowering the patient. Tamara is dedicated to the patient’s experience and working with the patient and families to provide a safe and healthy environment. She ensures that patient feels comfortable and believes open communication is key.
