JOSE I. ALMEIDA, MD, FACS is a veteran academic vascular surgeon who practices Endovascular Venous Surgery in the comfort and convenience of a private practice in Miami, FL. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Surgery in both Vascular Surgery and General Surgery. Dr. Almeida serves as a Voluntary Professor of Surgery at the University of Miami School of Medicine, and has authored numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and textbook chapters on vascular surgery.
Dr. Almeida understands the importance of sound nutrition and hormonal balance through his other interests as an NPC Masters bodybuilder and 4th Dan Black Belt in Shotokan karate. He has been a functional medicine patient for nearly 15 years and wants to share his knowledge and experience with other patients, also interested in improving their overall health and performance.
Jasmine is a Nurse Practitioner with over 28 cumulative years of experience in the medical field. She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. and grew up in Westbury, N.Y. where she obtained her BSN from N.Y.I.T. in Old Westbury, N.Y. and becoming a Registered Nurse.
A few years later Jasmine moved to Miami, Florida and while working as an RN attained an MSN specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Chamberlain University. Her professional experience includes: med-surg, home health care, step-down, pre-op, PACU, OR, academia, family practice and vascular practice. While in academia she presented studies on simulation, leadership, work lateral violence and laughter yoga. Jasmine’s goal and purpose is to provide her clients with the best holistic and professional care she can possibly give while assisting them to look their best. When not caring for her patients, Jasmine enjoys home DIY projects, spending time with her family and spending time with nature.

She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from NYIT, Old Westbury, New York and then earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in family practice from Chamberlain University, Downers Grove, Illinois. Experience includes: simulation specialist, Master Instructor Certification, adjunct clinical professor, family medicine, vascular medicine, hormone replacement therapy,and cosmetic-sclerotherapy, laser tattoo removal.Jasmine’s goal is to provide the best possible medical and holistic care to all of her patients.
