Melinda is a Colorado native, born in Fort Collins. She has also lived in Maryland, Kansas and Iowa. She graduated with her Master’s Degree from the University of Iowa, College of Medicine in the Physician Assistant Program. She has worked in this office for over seven years!

Lauren Hammer, NP

Lauren earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from St. Louis University. She went on to her Master of Science in Nursing, Women’s Health, with the University of Cincinnati. She is experienced in acute care labor and delivery and was most recently from North Suburban Medical Center. She advocates for safe and healthy pregnancies and childbirth for every mother. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, running, and traveling.

Emily Austin, FNP-C

Emily””s philosophy of wellness is integrated into her patient care as a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. She believes the patient/provider relationship is best developed when working together to achieve optimal health and wellness. Emily received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree from Regis University in Denver, Colorado, where she graduated with Honors, Summa Cum Laude. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., and has since worked in primary care and urgent care. She is a longtime resident of Colorado and lives Firestone with her husband and children.
