Laura Punkoney, NP

Laura is board certified as a Family Nurse practitioner and certified Bio T Identical hormone provider. She completed her masters of science in nursing at Idaho State University, receiving her certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2003. Laura has a broad interest in holistic integrative cares throughout her career. She completed certification as a Homeopathic Natural Medicine provider at the International School of Homeopathy and Integrative Medicine, Seattle, Washington.

Laura’s most recent two and one-half years as a Nurse Practitioner were at Sandia National Laboratory clinics, Kirtland AFB, Albuquerque, New Mexico. There she cared for the medical needs of women and men employed by that National Defense facilility.

Laura has a broad interest in holistic integrative cares as well throughout her career. She has taught as an Assistant Professor of nursing at Idaho State University, while also practicing as a Nurse Practitioner at Portneuf Medical Center, Pocatello Idaho.

Laura’s goal is to build strong relationships in order to provide personalized care, tailored to meet each patient’s specific needs.

Laura and her husband Will live in Orchard City, Colorado. They enjoy horseback riding, cross country skiing, fishing, camping and cooking .She and Will have recently returned to western Colorado where they grew up. They look forward to becoming active members in the Delta County Communities.
