She lived in Memphis, TN for work when she decided to pursue medicine and completed her pre-requisites at the University of Memphis. Dr. Knies attended the University of Texas San Antonio School of Medicine followed by residency at Baylor University in Houston, TX where she trained at Ben Taub Hospital, Texas Children’s Hospital and Houston Northwest. Afterwards, Dr. Knies returned back to her hometown of Wetmore where she resides with her family.
